Engineering can be so diverse but the best part is solving problems one at a time.

Problem comes along… what can we do… lets do that… oh thats problem solved. The cycle goes on and then finally you have a finished product with no problems!

I honestly think it’s the best job in the world… I always refer to it as playing with toys. Whenever I’m chucking kit into the water I am secretly amazed when I can communicate with it from the PC on the boat using digital signals in sound waves! And I feel l like I’m back on my childhood bedroom floor playing with lego.

It is the best job in the world. No two days are the same for me, which I can’t say is true for some of my friends who chose to work in an office. You get to build things, play with them until they break and then invent something to fix the problem.

I can’t imagine you would gain as much pride in other jobs. It feels so good to solve a problem and have a product outcome to look at. It is never boring being an engineer.

      Hi,

Engineering is fun because it’s your science subjects come to life! You get to see why all those equations are important and how they affect every day life and that’s pretty cool.
