As a career, maybe, but I will still be an engineer at the core of my soul. I will inevitably take more and more managerial roles in the future, mentoring and supporting engineers and technicians beneath me. It’s less hands-on but rewarding in its own right… like yoda passing on my skills to younger jhedis 🙂

Male modelling – people say I could be the next Derek Zoolander.

Slightly more sincerely, I will never rule anything out for my future but for the time being I’m extremely happy in engineering and there is plenty of opportunities for career progression.

      Hi Jake,

For now I see myself continuing to pursue a career in engineering. I may perhaps change the type of engineering though – I’ve always been interested in Bioengineering and biotechnology.

However, life is funny and takes you on unexpected turns. I wouldn’t be surprised if I decided to do something completely unrelated to engineering in the future like become a pro athlete or a drummer in a band in the future!
