• Question: What medical could graphene help with chemicals such as thalidomide?

      Thalidomide was a terrible failure in the way that we check drugs are safe – It passed all of the tests required at the time but they failed to spot that it was causing problems with the way that babies develop inside their mothers. I wouldn’t have said that Graphene would be able to help with this.

      Having said that, the main problems with Thalidomide happened in the 1960s and, whilst many people still live with the effects of it, it isn’t a problem today.
